the home page doesn't show whether or not I'm logged in. when i hit the forums it shows I'm logged in. can we get something on the home page stating we're logged in so i don't have to keep logging in over and over? :) ty!
(or just let me know where it is on the home page if I'm missing it:))

after clearing cache and cookies do you still get the behavior? I have seen this behavior myself before but have not lately.

if you keep seeing this problem please post your browser and version. i'll see if i can recreate it.

here a better idea, no one really uses the homepage since all the action is on the forums where you have to be signed in right??, so that being said for a easy fix why dont you just save the forums front page to your favorites instead, noobs....

I tried everything to re create this on my PC. I have IE7 and Firefox. I can not duplicate. Please give me a exact step by step with screenshots if you want me to figure it. i will do my best to fix, but I need help.

Delete favorites shortcut
2.) Close Browser
3.) Open Browser
4.) Go to http://jettcommunity.com
5.) Go to forums to log in automagically
6.) Click Home under the community links
7.) Now add this page to your favorites.

I use the wow template so this is how my shortcut looks
http://www.jettcommunity.com/index.php?pageid=home&styleid=9

This does not solve the actual problem. It is simply a work around. If you were to close your browser window and open a new window and just type in http://jettcommunity.com you would get the home page as if you were not logged in.

The firefox version I'm using is 2.0.0.12

Looking through the cookies I found one that may be causing the issue....but I doubt it. Would someone else that is using firefox browse through their cookies and see if theirs reads close to mine.

Name: bbsessionhash

Host: www.jettcommunity.com
Path: /
Send For: Any type of connection
Expires: at end of session

Though I'm sure the hash will turn out different, I am curious when others cookie expire. Particularly someone that isn't having this issue.

I found one problem and I am hoping this solves it. Delete all cookies and temp files for this site. When you open a browser after deleteing, you should see the default style. Notice now that the homepage is
http://www.jettcommunity.com/ and the link in nav menu is http://www.jettcommunity.com/, not like before with style id and php.

works?
