can you take out some stock maps and replace them with a majority of custom maps?

ok.

Edit: Done, first six maps are regular, all the ones after are customs.

To go to the next map just type "votenextmap" in console (without the quotes) and have the majority of people vote yes (with F3 and then 1 or in console 'vote 1").

Just wanted to let y'all know, whenever you change it back to Terro Hunt, the downloads take EXTREMELY long. It would take 1+hrs for 1 map download. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up, I do like the new custom maps though.

Come to the website to do the downloads.. Then you will have it in a minute or so.

about the dls, we dont have to worry about that now, but when the time comes for custom maps after everything is set then ill do the favor of asking around for a how-to on direct-dl'ing

the problem isn't really the difficulty of registering, it's either the time it consumes just to get a few maps or simply the players just don't know about this website or the dl's available here

Hmmm.. Well the site is in the MOTD and goes across the top of the screen, and you have to either wait for the download from the server or go to another site, so pick your poison.

No one really bothers reading the msg o da day anymore. I'd rather wait for the download if its fast or not play on the server at all, so as soon as someone puts custom maps on the server, which we'd love, like I said I'll ask around for how to do direct downloading.

Theres nothing you can do, we had this issue a few months ago. There needs to be a second server - 1 running the server - 1 dedicated to the games FTP downloads.

I just talked to an SnG guy running a few RvS servers and he says you are correct. But he says this vbulletin forum with its downloads and the rvs server dsru has count as the two servers needed.

Thats teh gist of it, but I'd get more info...
