That's just it Kae, this works great for those of us that have to work. You download it now and have it all installed and ready to go. Then when you purchase the game, you just need to do the "upgrade" through the Blizz site and BANG, you are online and ready to go. Saves quite a bit of time actually.

Ya that's an illegal torrent site, and I would say the torrent is illegal also. Just a heads up.

actually, torrents themselves are not illegal, it is the files that you are distributing on your torrent that makes it legal or not.
Blizzard has no problem with you sharing your cds or the software with friends. actually that is why they package a free trial in every box. you can use one copy of the software to install on any computer. you would just have to pay online for the account which is just as much as what you would buy the box for off the shelf. So it is not illegal to get the software and then buy the account, Blizzard is not out any money, and you are still paying the license fee.
I personally only bought one copy of Wow when I started and then when I added my other accounts I didn't go out an by more Cds I just went online and created a new account. This would be the same as if you got the software from a friend.
The only problem is that with WOTLK they have yet to start the online services for it. So you wouldn't be able to create a WOTLK account until they do. So it would be faster to just go buy a copy.

I think Blizzard is going to open up their official download on the 13th, the downloads will be really slow though.

I bought mine through gamestop and its being overnighted, and it is guaranteed to be here on the 13th, hopefully when i get home from school :)

I agree that warez should not be allowed, and yes torrents are used for that. I would never download or suggest to download anything off a torrent for that reason.
