This is gonna be fun, glad you have it. I think there are about 6 to 10 of us that have it or will have it soon, with many of our best fps players expressing interest in getting it. I'm having a blast with this one D'. Outstandingly cool maps, tons of detail and usuable terrain, great team and strategy incentives.

I'll be holding off on this one for awhile. Barely have time for gaming anyways, but I wasn't terribly impressed w/ the beta.

Yeah this is one I am going to skip unless I get it for Christmas or I can find it cheap on eBay. Too many other games that I really want and I don't need a WW2 skin on my CoD4.

played the demo...wasn't impressed....reviews aren't impressive either...i think i'll pass on this one.

Omega/Tracker - I'd like to hear honest opinions on compare/contrast with CoD4. My main beef with WaW is I feel like its just CoD4 with WW2 skin and weapons and woot lol dawgs. If given the choice of a full server of Jetts on CoD4 or WaW, which would you choose?

PS - yes I am aware that a full server of Jetts is a bit of an oxymoron these days.

I really would like to see how the vehicles will really play in the multiplayer aspect of the game. The demo really did not let us explore that option.

The the dedicated server files have not been released yet, at least not for linux. They are on the way though.

the co-op of WaW is fun stuff. The general purpose multiplayer isn't impressive at all. Its cod4 with a bit of slop thrown in. After I finish the co-op game and get max rank and test out all the guns I will give you a full comparison. It's hard to give a full review at this point because I hated the starter weapons in cod4 too.

Grinder, it's been a week of playing and its pure fun for me. Some don't give it a very good rating, but there are a ton of players that are crazy for it. The new scenery is eyegasmic. It will be my game until the next good fps comes out. Upgrades for any game are all new skins over a similar scenario, and this one has extreme map makover.

Sorry Tracker - COD4 with new eyegasmic scenery and WW2 weapons just doesn't sound worth my money at this time. Too many other games I actually want to play. I am a bit bummed because I loved playing COD4 with you guys and will miss seeing you in game when I do get to play. I keep hoping maybe you'll get bored of WAW and come back to COD4 :)

Currently I am enjoying the Left 4 Dead demo on both PC and Xbox. Also having fun with Gears of War 2. Looking forward to getting Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Mirror's Edge, and of course playing the full L4D game when it comes out.

I think you're smoking crack. Once everyone grows up from their Pre-School Learning Gaming Machines and learns how to build their own computer this would be a total non issue.
