Hey all. Just wanted to see what you all think about the X-Pac? Personally, I think it's off to a much better start than BC was. I liked BC and all, but this one just "feels" better to me so far. Haven't quite hit 71 yet, but I'll be getting that tonight ;) The quests are much more stream line and easier to do in my opinion. Feels faster to me anyway. Did the Nexxus last night. Wow, fun instance, but way harder than I thought it would be. Wicker had to spec tank and I had to spec resto in order to take the last boss down. Really didn't think we would need to do that, but it was worth it. The XP in there was really nice. Not sure if all instances will be that way or if we were low level or something, but it was nice anyway.

What do you all think so far? How was the other instance? A bit easier I hope lol.

Also, the first legit world 80 dinged after just 27 hours (can't imagine playing 27 hours straight myself, but whatever lol). It's a 21 year old chick from France and she played a Felguard/Siphon Life spec Lock.

I do appreciate the ease of the quests in Wrath more than some insanely random drop rate that they used for lots of quests until now. Hit 71 last night and still have about 1/2 of the Tundra left to complete, no instances completed and haven't even touched foot into the Fjord.

The size of the zones mixed with the lack of linearity between the quest hubs helps spread people out so its not a lot of mob camping which makes questing more enjoyable.

I think being required to spec for healing and tanking for the instances now comes into play in that tank specs and healer specs are move viable for leveling than they had been before.

I miss my flying mount so much though. I was used to Azeroth without one, but Northrend would be so much more enjoyable with my mount back. Level 77 cannot come fast enough.

I'm trying to decide when to go out to Dalaran, Mages can go at 71, since the quest is somewhere in Dragonsblight. At 74, I'll start ports out for those that will be willing to come out to my location for ports to Dalaran.

Just thinking about my poor mount just sitting there makes me want to cry.....LET THE BOY FLY!!!! lol. Well, I will say this. Did the quest with the flying carpet last night. Holy smokes, I want Stab to get his tailoring up so bad now! lol.
