so, as you can see we have a COD4 server that NOBODY uses's. I have actualy seen multiple players playing COD4 in our Vent channel but go to other servers to play on. WHY?

I believe its because our server has WAY to much what a few players want, certain maps, settings, only certtain modes, etc.

Why not set it ALL back to stock and lets see if we can get some activity. This includes LOSING HARDCORE!

Now, for the flaming.

We just don't have the community we had back in the CS days. We used to fill the server up with Jett/Comm people alone, now we're lucky to get 5 or more online at a time for COD 4.

In order to grow the community again for FPS, I think we need to be an early adopter of the "next great" FPS that comes out. That means having a server out on release day, before tens of thousands of other servers come up. COD 4 has been out a while, everyone has their favorite servers and it will stay that way sadly.

For a prime example at that, look at Jett with CS strong server, huge community, however with some of the other clans/communitys started recruiting from our server/community and they got their own server, our server slowly died.

So, I don't think we will see growth from COD 4, sadly. As stated above we need to catch the "next FPS" at release.

so, nothing to lose by going back to stock and NO HARDCORE, right?

Give it a try I suppose, however I know myself as well as the other Jett players seem to prefer hardcore as the majority, no idea about the public preference though.

The only way to see true growth is by having a dedicated champion. One who will be there 80% of the week promoting Jett and recruiting actively. Even in a saturated market there is space to win new members. Unfortunately we do not have a champion that can work for the end result we once knew.
