Ok, out of all the heriocs I have run since dinging 80, I have seen myself either top the dps charts or be very close behind the leader (not trying to brag just stating facts). I am not that conceited to assume to have any more skill that anyone in this guild. However, two out of the last three that I have run have been with a DK tank (dtathscomin, who does a great job by the way.) and my dps has been significantly lower (300-400 lower). Which Is interesting because my gear has been progressively getting better and my rotation has not changed. What I noticed was that during fights my diseases would run out well before they were supposed to. I did some digging and found out that blood boil removes the all the diseases from all death knights not just the ones that were put on by the DK that activated blood boil. Blood Boil is used by DK tanks alot as it generates threat and DK's don't have much in the way of AoE threat generation to begin with. This is concerning because many DK abilities are heightened by having diseases on their targets. So my question is this, is blood boil such a good threat generator that a DK tank simply can't do without it, and if so, how would a dps DK alter his rotation to maximize dps to flow with the blood boils of the tank?

And for those of you who don't recognize who I am; I am Voorselar, lv 80 Death Knight.

Obliterate removes diseases, not blood boil.

And Strega is specced into Annihilation, so that wont remove diseases either. So I dont know why youre seeing the Dps decrease.

Well, then I don't know either, I'm sure his obliterate is speced not to remove diseases. It is probably just a coinsidence where the couple instances had a lot of single mob pulls which hurts my dps. That is probably the culprit. Whereas the other runs before had many multiple mob pulls which would show an increase in dps.
At the end of the day its probably just me messing something up.
