This first link is for low cirt low gear mages so they can be the most mana efficient it takes a little getting used to but haveing coldsnap/icey veins is very nice if you have a use for spell damage trinket.

This spec is deep fire with a few points in frost I advise useing this spec if you have at least 28-30% crit. There are two points left in this one for you to play with as you want

Use the glyph of mana gem if you are haveing problems with mana, once you get two pieces of t7 this should not be a problem
