Wiktr... Ban?

What a shame...
this moment we are playing the map "Parade". And wiktr is hacking... He is snipering from the wall on roof. Normally you aren't able to climb on the wall, but he used a forbidden way (I think that this is forbidden...)
I will show you a picture.

If a Captain wants to try he can. This works. I watched how he done this 2 times...

leave wiktr alone! he just gets a little kick (no pun intended) from parade's glitches, thats all. he's a good rvs player that does not disrespect other players nor hacks, which is what matters.

For what its worth:

First - I do not play RVS, so take that for what it is

Next - I scanned the RVS Rule Book and did not see anything in there about exploiting glitches. I don't know if exploiting glitches is generally considered a hack in RVS culture. I know in the old CS days we had a specific rule about no glitching, but that was a different era and a different game. Based on the current rule book, I see no reason for any action UNLESS exploiting glitches is commonly seen as a hack within the global RVS community.

Last - the fact that a player is highly active on the server has no real bearing on whether or not they should be banned. If ANY player (including community members or captains) is caught breaking the rules, they are liable to receive the wrong end of the poof stick.

glitching is not allowed,but its not such a serious thing to ban somebody,i think we should give WIKTR a last chance on this,dont do it anymore and to ban him if he does this again.

Glitching is not allowed, But is too funny when you do. Glitch not make anything bad to other players. Why banned him. I glitch always when I play alone. In: Parade, Island, Shipyard, etc.... This is not bad. hacks is bad, because its not the same when you do a glitch betwin do a hax. NOT BAN HIM HE CAN STILL PLAY ON SERVERS

Over a glitch...psshh. Back in our day it would be over cross-dressing and for quoting Martha Stewart when interpreting the rule book.

On this topic, has anyone managed to get on top of the ship in the docks map? Someone showed me how once, but I forgot.

Well...based on what X, Pirell, HFC and Yellow said; Is glitching allowed or not? If it is NOT allowed maybe someone can edit the rule book for future reference.

I agree Cvette. From what I hear you guys saying, you generally do not allow exploiting glitches. I don't know who has rights to do it, but I do think that should be added to the rule book to avoid any confusion in the future :)

If the rule book dosnt say it, it dont matter. Why not take the current RS rule book and engineer it to what you guys want. Only you have the knowledge to do it, as most Jett dosnt play. Seems to me its a perfect opportunity to "evolve" into a better RS community. For those that dont know it, here is the RS rule book found in the nav menu of the left.

i dont like glitching when u r playing seriously on a map on coop or in adver,the glithches r an error of the game and players should not take advantage of that.I dont care doing it for fun when all the players in the map agrees to start having fun with the glitches,but if someone wants to play the map in a serious way,i think he has the right to complain and ask to those that were glithching to stop doing it.

no, I want RS players INCLUDING CC's and leaders to update our current Rule book for RS. ALL input is needed as i would like to say that the RS COMMUNITY came up with the rules. What the hell do I know of a game I havent played in years! :)

I think the core foundation of being a part of JETT is to be respectful to others while playing games. As long as we use our discretion and our heads on a daily basis, theres no need to edit the rule book for every detail of the game or our behaviors.

I think in coop everyone should just have fun, goofing off, messin' with each other...etc. Glitching doesn't effect other players, it's just a way to have fun on a map. So I don't see why someone should be banned from it.

I agree with most of the arguments of cvette, but I think even in coop a player shouldn't exploit errors of the game.

Maybe it sounds weird, but a player shouldn't use his "unfair" knowledge (he maybe has..) for killing more tangos then other, maybe new, players.

All a GOOD player needs is his experience he gained while playing.
This is what a good player is.

And I agreee with DSRU.
Maybe we all, Players and Captains, should rework the Rules.
Maybe no big changes, but make them "up-to-date"

I vote no every time i on with him he never glitches besides anyone that uses that glitch realizes that its easier to get shot and its a worthless glitch if he wanted to try it and did it twice big deal. If anything just moniter his play for future hacks or glitches but i've seen nothing but clean play from wiktr
