The first most obvious answer is, have you done a power cycle to each component and brought them back online properly? Unplug the power cord to each component and allow it to sit for 15-20 seconds. Your PC you don't have to unplug, just restart it.Plug the power back in one at a time, starting with Modem, Router, then PC. If this doesn't work check the next step.
You probably have an IP conflict. Your modem PROBABLY resides at 192.168.0.1 on your LAN, while your Router is trying to also assign it's self to 192.168.0.1. Go into your router's setup menu and look for Lan IP Setup or DHCP setup or something of the like. Look for your Router's LAN IP Address as well as DHCP addresses. Make your router have an IP address of something other then 192.168.0.1, or whatever address your modem resides at. Once you've assigned your Router's IP address, set the DHCP assigned address to something other then your Modem's IP range.

Second part of Willow's post is probably your problem. I had the same thing happen to me with my Motorolla DSL modem and Linksys router. I just changed my router to 192.168.0.1 and my modem is at 192.168.1.254 (default IP). Once I did that, it worked. Hope this helps
