View Full Version : Jett Community switching to TeamSpeak

Well, with our recent changes in the WoW Guild and are continued decline of activity on Ventrilo, Jett will be switching over to TeamSpeak(TS). The ventrilo server costs Omega cash out of his own pocket to maintain a 75 person Vent server and we have the resources to make a voice communication system free. TS does NOT charge for its use and has a unlimited player count. The vent server will be up for a little while longer as we make the switch.

To get TS, please visit http://www.teamspeak.com/ to learn about TS and download the client file. I will set TS to the highest codec available so the sound quality will be great. Yes it will take sometime for everybody to get use to it, set the right permissions for our admins, but the cost savings outweigh any issues we might have. Lets all give it a shot and test our new voice communication server. I will create a new forum for TS issues and comments. Please help us support this change.

I'm not saying I edited his signature. I'm just saying I don't remember doing it. There have been a few occasions where too much wine has entered my system.

I'm guessing that the vent server is out now? Because I just got DC'd from ours and can connect to others.

I guess its time to learn how to use team speak :)

Teamspeak works great if you don't want to talk or hear anyone!!! Turn off the global mute :( I don't know why it does it but for some reason everyone who logs on automaticly has a mute and has to request permision to speak. UHG!!

splain please, I didnt know I had GLOBAL mute on!
Since vent is now down for good. Tomorrow night I will add Omega and Aries as admins, all the CC's and team members and a selected few who knows TS like the back of your hand.
