Is there a way to see if there are new posts in the wow guild, class officer and leader sections without clicking on the parent link?

Perhaps set it to a forum but not allow new posts? FYI, I'm not touchin shit.

ya it would be nice to see the Wow section and the Officer section without having to click on the link.

I'm probably going to get drawn and quartered but I went ahead and fixed it. After testing everything appears to be working correctly.
