The next Jettlan?

Maybe this has been brought up and put to rest in the past years..(I have been out of the loop :noidea:)

Last time I was around was back in 2004, I was still only a senior in High School so I was unable to drive from Michigan to Texas for JettLan 3.

Given that im in NM and have some real world money coming in, have there been talks of organizing another event?

Another jettlan would be nice, but honestly not everyone plays the same games anymore. Back then it was Counterstrike, today its a jumbled orgy of games.

Im thinking with the release of some big titles this year like SC2 and BF2BC we could start to center our gaming around one or two titles like the old days :fencing:

I don't think it matters so much if we're all playing the same games anymore. The last Lan party was mostly CS but some of us were playing WOW and such and a bunch of us we're playing BF2. I remember sitting down and watching Pauper playing Jedi Knight. I never thought of the Lan parties to be about a single game I guess as much as the community just getting together and hangin out and partying. I could see a combination of Lan/BBQ. We could get a smaller conference room and do what ever we want. I'd sure be up for some hardcore MW2 on a Lan and BC2 is coming also. Just hooking up with peeps you know on a network is the ultimate gaming to me.

Man i can totaly come this time if you guys should attempt one. I've always wanted to go to one, mostly to meet all of you people :)

If you decide to do it, and decide on a game for all to play (if i don't have it i'll get it just for this) then i'm totaly in!

It used to take 5 of us doing all of the logistics to make the lan happen. If 5 of you could step up to the plate I may be able to attend. I don't have the time to work on it this year.
