Minor Quibble

I'm not sure if this is something that can be modified or not.

I frequently use the icons on the left of the forums to see if there are "new posts" or not in that parent forum. However, now, if I respond to a post, and I am the last "new post" it highlights it, which is kind of dumb.

I believe the old site only highlighted it if there was a post OTHER than your own that was new.

Does this annoy anyone else? Can it even be changed? Am I just too crazy?

I've always noticed this with vBulletin, and doubt there is an easy way to do it.
