In the Top 5 section where is says new posts as well as in the "new posts" section on the top action bar, when I view these posts, the status does not go way as a new or unseen post. I even refresh the page. Just gets a little frustrating when I am trying to look for posts that actually have new material on them. On a side note, the main forum section of the site, in the different categories it is the same deal. I have to double click the icon after I look in the section to turn off the "unread" status. I was just wondering if this was a issue that could be fixed.

Concerning the 'new posts' feature,

I would like to see the chat box on this screen. Just as users do when they go straight to the forums page.

well, after weeks of trying to figure out why (I noticed the same thing) I figured out why!

You click on new posts, some are high lighted and some are not. The HIGHLIGHTED ones are new, the non high lighted ones are not. If you click on a HIGHLIGHTED one and the go back to new posts, it will NOT be highlighted.

New posts are only updated at each quarter hour, hence Highlighted/not highlighted.
