Movie: I Am Legend

I know it's an Omega Man remake. Lucky me I hadn't seen the Omega Man. I really enjoyed the movie. Huge props to Will Smith for all that solo acting and keeping it interesting.

I totally missed the reference to the butterfly.

I thought the way the book ended was much more interesting, but I did like the movie.

I read the original novella after seeing the movie, and agree the "legend" part makes more sense in the book. I liked the movie, although it kinda ended suddenly after a great build up. The dog is better in the movie than the book. I've heard the original movie, is pretty bad.

They've done 3 or so different movies with the same theme. I've never seen the old school versions.

Haven't seen I Am Legend yet, however I will eventually. What I can say is though.... Omega Man is AWESOME

I thought the alternate ending was very meh. I was really hoping they would work in the book ending in some way, but they would have had to shoot a lot more scenes for it.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the movie. didn't even know there's a book, although i shoulda guessed, since almost every movie these days is just a retelling of some book. :)

I just watched the movie yesterday and really enjoyed it. This was so much better than the original Omega Man.
