I actually got to watch the launch from one of my customers that did the guidance system for rocket. About a year ago one blew up on the pad. Reason they lauch from sea, all automated and is at the equator, shortest distance to a sync orbit, so less fuel more payload.
Direct TV 11 soon to be operational!

Good... they've been saying they'd have Little Rock locals "in the next few months" for like 2 years. I'm tired of waiting. :)

.... so you've been waiting for overly compressed "HD" Local channels when you could get them in all their uncompressed HD glory OTA?

Not me, I have a 160 inch 60 element attenna in my attic. I get the OTA's stuff + the DTV stuff. OTA always better than DTV, no compression, but only the locals and PBS. Have to rely on DTV for all other channels in HD hometown.

No, I can't get them OTA where my house sits. If I went to the trouble of installing a big honkin' roof antenna MAYBE, but even then, it would be iffy.

Do you have attic? If so, one could be mounted in there. My HOA wouldnt let me mount the one I wanted (huge) on my house.
