I want to get a feel for the experience of our current players for when we attempt to actually use tactics together.
Look at the poll question, I've found that Rogue Spear was more in depth when it came to room-clearing and hostage rescue.

what about R6 Vegas?
No, that one seems to much of a gears of war/lockdown/built for multiplayer rather than learning tactics. If you've tried Rogue Spear or the original Rainbow 6 you'd learn a lot about weapons, tactics, and pretty much some counterterrorism history.
Edit: I have played it on the 360.

i agree that vegas is more of a "dramatic" shooter (i guess u could call it that) than a tactical... the same with lockdown, a disgrace to R6.
i learned a lot from the original R6

I have played everything discussed and everything in the poll (WoW ftw!!) and the best of the "tactical" shooters is RVS, but it is also the most boring cause of everything you have to get right. Vegas is fun to play split screen story mode with your friends on but thats about it. One that you didnt have up there is COD4. Which in my opinion blows the other shooters on that list out of the water!!! Not is its single player campaign great, but its multiplayer is insanely fun! Its like CSS and RVS combined.
I played RS 1,rouge spear,RVS,RS vegas and the best one for me is RVS. the rouge spear's graphics r very bad so i dont like the game that much now a days.

My experience started with the first Rainbow Six, then Rogue Spear, then Urban Operations. After that came Raven Shield, then Iron Wrath. Finally, I got around to playing the American version of Black Thorn, but I'm still looking for the original British version with the levels that were changed due to 9/11.
