I actually just went out and baught Dawn of War 1 and Winter Assualt, which I never got to enjoy personally, and am now wondering why I skipped it...

They are making cover more integral, which makes sense.

Also, the upgrading of your force commander, warboss leader type is similar to the Necron expansion.

Still looks pretty sweet. I'll be bringing the Waaaaagh to some fools when it comes out :)

That sounds interesting, I love it when they put realistic details like that in the game. I liked the squad play in 40k too, made for personal and manageable warfare.

Not to change the subject but please tell me something. The release date is Q2 09 on 40K2 isn't it? I'm sitting here wondering why I never got to finish playing another RTS that I was really impressed with that was editors choice and got a 9.0 rating. I was thinking of getting back into some RTS with a friend and I know alot of you guys played Company of Heroes and I have it sitting around here somewhere. What's your take on that RTS did you guys get into it much?

I play CoH on the single player only. I know rock played a bit more than me, I did like how it was setup.

Another cool part of DoW2 is each squad levels up as well. This way you can make them specialize at melee, or ranged, etc versus really only specializing them through the weapons you equipped that squad with.

nah...my troops are made to die.....they are trained up simply to perform their suicide base raids better! :-)

The only RTS' that I ever got to get into were C&C series and SC, loved them both but this looks like it would be a lot of fun

I just like the 40k universe and setting. DoW has been the only RTS I've ever actually played online.
