uh yeah.... too good to be honest. I would be skeptical of the quality at that price.

I am guessing most of that money is towards the TV. The Furniture Is prob fake leather crap and shitty wood. The quality a college student could get for $100 or so. Least thats my opinion.

Aries' wife is going to go check it out today. Gallery Furniture is known for having pretty good quality furniture.

Here's for hoping.

Yeah I have purchased two sets of furniture from Gallery and been very happy with both. We saw that ad on TV the other day and commented about what a great deal it appears to be.

Here is the TV in the $1999 deal

what's your thoughts?

I'm betting the TV is the sucky part. The cheapest 42inch plasma screen at Best Buy is $799. So the question for the experts, is 1200 for the rest of the stuff a good deal? The TV won't likely be too great.

bestbuy's quote on the tv is $990

I have an LG flat screen and LOVE it. No problems yet and have it for a little over a year. Been quite a while since I've been in the t.v. business though, so not sure what to tell you to look for :( As far as I know though, LG is a fairly solid t.v. brand. Nothing special, but not crap either.

I have a Pioneer 42" 720p Plasma and love it. It is a little too small for how far back we sit, but its only small when we try split screen gaming :) For TV watching it is great. Awesome color. I personally don't think you need 1080p unless you approach 50" screen sizes.

As for price, using Omega's BB quote, that makes the furniture come out to $1000 which still ain't bad.

Not a bad TV at all, the furniture, who knows! As Grinder said below 50" and 720p is ample! Has 3 HDMI Inputs, 3 Component, 1 S Video, 1 RCA Video input, and a Digital Audio Out.

CHA CHING! Look at all this pretty debt!

We didn't walk away with the deal I mentioned. The couches weren't our style and in the end we really didn't care for the tables either.

So we walked around and tested every couch out. We found the ones that we absolutely fell in love with. Super uber comfortable and thats hard to find for a big boy like me. They came as a 4 piece set, sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman. Consequently the chair and love seat were the very same size in dimensions. We had no where to put the extra chair. Luckily they let us piece out the set and get 3 of the 4 pieces. In the pictures below you will see the ottoman with a blanket on it. Without the blanket it is the same style as the couch and love seat.

I also got my 42" hdtv. Toshiba Regza 42RV530U for those that are interested in the specs. I'm very pleased with the whole deal.

That is the IDENTICAL style furniture that we got except ours is cloth all over instead of the vinyl base. I too love it cuz its HUGE! I still laugh about how large the "chair" is. The chair is like standard love seat size and the love seat is standard couch size and the couch is a monster. I can lay on it length wise with room to spare at both my head and feet.....and I ain't no short feller (6'4"). Nice TV too.

Lived in Klamath Falls for a year and a few months. My dad liked it there, but work was a issue at the time to find so we moved back to Cali. as for when not sure on the exact date it was like 8 or so years ago.
