who's got a 360?
what are the pros and cons about the console?

im planning to get one because...
+im keeping my eye on GTA 4, COD 4, MGS 4, Soulcal 4... and Halo 3 (it just had to break the "4" chain)
+also, most of my friends play 360 and gold live

any other suggestions on why i should buy one?

PS3! GT5, COD4, GTA4, Soulcaliber 4. More people need to get them too. Plus MSG 4 is PS3 exclusive silly :P

yeah, the ps3 has got better graphics by some margin that im not sure of... but not as many of my friends have a ps3 so i wouldn't be able to play online with them

as for MGS4, i heard it as a rumor that it'll b out on the 360 (a bit later than the release on the ps3)... supposedly cuz konami had second thoughts on whether they would sell enough on the ps3... this was even reported on tv. theres still hope lol : (

I have the 360. I got it because of the superior online system. PS3 has recently upgraded theirs though so it may be decent now. All the games I care to play are on the 360 plus I had an original Xbox but never owned a Playstation of any variety so it kinda made sense for me to go the 360 route.

no, i dont think the ps3 online function is any better... i heard from my friend that its still the same and cannot beat the 360s live experience

but yeah, i'd like to know mainly how many ppl on jett hav 360s; that way i could maybe play more familiar ppl i guess

quite a few have one, but honestly i rarely catch anyone online that much. seems like we play at all different times.

I dont think that there is any difference in XBL and PSN. The only thing I dont like about PSN is that you have to exit your game to access your friends, messages, and whatever else, which I think should be fixed in a patch or something. XBL is nice, I play on my neighbors every once and a while, and you can access all of that, but you have to pay your monthly dues D: So I guess you just need to pick your poison lol...

okay so i got a new xbox 360 today, i heard you can get a free trial of live gold... how do redeem the trial?

I have no idea on that front. I know that my XBL downloads come over pretty fast....essentially as fast as my net connection will allow.

ya its pretty fast. i downloaded a gtaIV HDtrailer *=(like 61mb) just for the heck of it an was at 50% in like a minute or something like that

on the other hand, i activated my 1-month xbl gold trial. yay. gives me time to contemplate how im going to ask my parents for their credit card and pay $50. or i could get one of those prepaids
