You definitely want to check out Quest Helper. It tells you where to go to achieve the requirements and how many you need to kill or collect when you put your mouse over it. Its like your own personal powerleveler only you dont pay for it and you still level yourself :D

SCT and SCTD (scrolling combat text and damage) fan from the old days.
CTMod for my action bars, mail, buffs.
Deadly Boss Mods is very helpful when i'm raiding or in BGs
If your a rogue (or druid) Kenergy is awesome.
Druidbar for druids, very nice!
Atlas/AtlasLoot/AtlasQuest - if your going in an instance, know everytihng about it.
Stunwatch is great if you have a few of those in your arsenal.
I use XPerl for my unit frames and party/raid windows. Its a bit resource heavy but i love the look.

If your feeling a bit advanced Clique is a power tool, when your 70 and have more spells than you can remember, it makes the click-style of playing just a bit easier.

Thats how i roll, i hope you find a good fit for you.
