5.9 as well! :) And I'm running a Raptor also, albeit a 74GB version from several years back. Very nice drives, and they perform very well in RAID setups (for an ATA drive). Most of the system is overclocked - RAM is 2x1GB of CL2-2-2-5 @ 2.7v, Processor is an older AMD X2 3800+ (s939, water cooled) overclocked to 2.5GHz from 2.2GHz. Been running this rig for years now (except I've replaced the video card - my nVidia 6800GT died and I swapped it with an ATI 1900XT).

FYI you can just right-click My Computer and go to Properties to see the screen.

Nice rig, no overclocking here, I be afraid of frying my 1000 bone cpu. I would like to wc my video cards though. 2 3870 x2's sounf like a vacumn cleaner when the second one kicks on!

Here's mine, I don't understand why my CPU scores a 5.3 when it's a AMD64 X2 5600+ @ 2.8ghz, yet your 3800+ oced to 2.5ghz scores 5.9? I've googled this a few times, and apparently the Intel Core 2 Duo E6600's scores @ 5.3 also... is strange. AMD Cool'N'Quiet is disabled, multiplier and FSB are manually set to 14 x 200.... am doing research!

As for Specs...

Mobo: MSI K9AG Neo-2 Digital (integrated Video for teh HDMI out to my TV for HTPC functionality)
Processor: AMD 64 X2 5600+
RAM: 4x1GB OCZ DDR2 800 Platnium
Video Card: eVGA Nvidia 8800GT Superclocked Edition
HDD: 160GB Seagate SATA2 7200RPM

:-(

edit: the new help bar says 7.9 is the highest now.

I have two 10k SATA raptors. Is it because I dont have them in RAID 0 that my hard drive score sucks green donkey dongs?

No, its just that windows tests your hardware to a point, but a mechanical drive can only get so high, even if you have raptors. The experience index isn't really a great show of performance....

I mean I should get bonus points for my 10 TB of space in one computer.... but alas I have a 5.9 as well.....

Well, got a low budget slow SSD from NewEgg. Only 94.00 bones, 40GB and will use for benchmarketing. I will put OS on here ONLY and use 10k raptors for storage.

Hmmm....that may speed up booting and any page file access, but with a lot of RAM, I'm thinking your page file won't get hit much. So...we all still know you REALLY only have a 5.9. :P lol j/k

Actually, it's pretty good idea to have a separate boot drive anyway...if it ever dies or gets whacked, you'd still have your data. Or if your data drive dies, at least you wouldn't have to restore Windows AND backed up data. :)

Here is my score....

It is sad that the hard drive is based solely upon performance. My 5 TB of hard drive space should count for something.....
