I have this cam (Linksys WVC54GCA wireless webcam)

.....I would like to add more cams but I don't really want to spend $500 bucks for 4 or 5 more cams. This cam will direct-connect to my wireless router so I don't need to leave my computer on while I'm not at home. What I'd like to do is buy some cheap usb webcams and network them in somehow instead.

I think I would need to get this from Belkin (USB Network Hub.....http://www.belkin.com/networkusbhub/) and something else...my question is related to the "something else". Will I need an access point or bridge or what to wirelessly connect to the router? The USB hub has an uplink port to direct connect to a router but I want to use this on a different floor than where my router is located so I want it to connect to the router wirelessly.

Clear as mud? :D

does your router include wireless features? if not i'd rather just buy a new router that includes an antenna or something for wireless access

------

yeah u probably need a bridge. or u can simply buy one a longer networking cable and run it in a wall, floor or ceiling to where ever ur router is
