Been looking for a small CPU temp program for my box. I have the Intel Desktop Control Center for my board but I HATE that it dosnt show the actual temp's of my quad core, only a thermal margin. The attached program is tiny and works well.

I do have one question though for Rolling Rock, willow, or Liquid. I have the QX9650 Quad 3.0Ghz cpu, why does one core read higher than the others.

Right now, i have 30-32-49-30 as core temps. Why is one quite higher than the others? If I was to tell somebody what my core temp was at idle, which one would you use? I ask this because I am thinking about other options for cooling and want to understand what my CPU temp is.

Any ideas?

Actually, that is a really nice little prog there. I would be more interested in one like that, but for video cards as mine is acting funky lately. While playing CNC3 it gets wierd triagal stretches and artifacts, I think it might be not enough power or temperature....
